Garfield Park Master Plan

The City of Napa Department of Parks & Recreation is creating a Master Plan for Garfield Park.  They are looking for community feedback to help determine what should happen with the undeveloped portion of the park on the other side of the creek from the Little League fields.  Follow this link for more information about the project - Garfield Park Master Plan

There was a large turnout at the first planning meeting/workshop held last week from the surrounding neighbors.  We need Napa Little League families (past & present) to complete the survey to show our support for keeping our fields in place.  It is also an opportunity to contribute your opinions on what to add to the other side.  There are quite a few interesting ideas including a community garden, children's play area and/or nature display, walking trails, picnic areas, etc.

Please take a couple of minutes to answer the few questions.  It will help our league, our community, and our kids!

Bat Standards Changing for 2018

To all NLL Families:

Before you hit those Black Friday sales, or find that perfect bat to give your favorite player, please read the following regarding new bat standards in 2018:

Little League International will be changing its standards for metal and composite Baseball bats in 2018 to make them perform more like wood bats.  We suggest you read the following links prior to purchasing a new bat in the coming year, as you may be unable to use the new bat beyond 2017.
