Parking Reminder

Please remember to ONLY park in lined, legal parking spots within the lower lot.  We had a serious incident last year, and the fire truck was unable to reach the victim due to cars parked outside of the lined spots.  If the lower lot is full, you must park on Garfield or Villa Lane.

Other guidelines for parking/traveling around Garfield:

Please park legally and do not block any driveways
• The area across from the main gate and just outside the main gate at Garfield Park is NOT for parking

Violators will be towed
• Be respectful of the park’s neighbors
• Drive slowly and safely in the parking lot and surrounding neighborhood (From Napa Police Dept. - Speed limit on Garfield Lane is 25 mph. Citations result in a fine and a point on your license.)
• Watch for pedestrians
• Park only in marked parking spaces
• The upper parking lot is reserved for the disabled, umpires and board members only-DO NOT DROP OFF IN THE UPPER PARKING LOT.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Game time change

Hello everyone,

We are changing the game times for all weeknight games this week and next week (Mar.13-23) to 5:00 pm.  We understand it's inconvenient, but we want to be certain that the games can complete while there is still light outside.

Thank you!

Garfield Park Master Plan - Update

Thank you to everyone that completed the survey & contributed their feedback to the Garfield Park Master Plan.  According to the survey results, it looks like Napa Little League was well represented.  (Over 50% of the 426 respondents stated they visit Garfield Park for baseball!)  Please follow this link to see the survey results & open house comments - Garfield Park Master Plan

The next step is another community meeting where a couple of plan designs will be presented based on survey results & the first community meeting.  This meeting will be held at Napa City Hall Council Chambers on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 6:00 pm.  Feel free to attend if you would like to learn more about the plans and share your opinions.

Click here for more information regarding the community meeting - Event Flyer

What is the Garfield Park Master Plan?  The City of Napa Department of Parks & Recreation is creating a Master Plan for Garfield Park.  They are looking for community feedback to help determine what should happen with the undeveloped portion of the park on the other side of the creek from the Little League fields.  A survey was available from Jan. 9 - Feb 16, 2017, and the first community meeting/open house was held on Jan. 26, 2017.

Thank you!
